Warner for Virginia announces Working Together Tour

Chris Graham

mark-warnerOn Wednesday, May 28, U.S. Sen. Mark Warner will kick off the “Working Together” tour, highlighting his plans for finding bipartisan solutions that ensure everyone has a fair shot at success. Senator Warner will be joined by Virginians from every region of the Commonwealth.

Starting in Wise and ending in Northern Virginia, Sen. Warner will hold 14 events over six days to talk with Virginians about his proven track record of working from the sensible center to break through the gridlock in Washington.

Sen. Warner has led the charge in bringing Democrats and Republicans together to find common ground. His work has helped move bipartisan legislation that promotes entrepreneurship, creates jobs, restores fiscal responsibility, and helps reduce the burden of student debt.

The tour will begin with a discussion with local community leaders in Wise and a virtual town hall that will be livestreamed to house parties in all 133 localities.

As Governor and for the last five years, Sen. Warner’s governing philosophy has been to work with people from across the political spectrum. During this tour, he will take his positive message about working together to every part of the Commonwealth because Sen. Warner firmly believes that only through cooperation will we enable all Virginians to have a fair shot at a quality affordable education, good paying jobs, and a great quality of life.
