The VMI athletic department will broadcast five home men’s soccer games during the upcoming season, according to information released Saturday afternoon. Four of the contests will be available on the SoCon Digital Network (SDN), while one game will be shown on ESPN3.
The broadcast schedule begins with the team’s home opener Aug. 26 against Longwood and the Sept. 9 tilt against non-conference opponent Buffalo. Both of those games will be available via the SDN, while the midweek conference match with UNCG will be shown on ESPN3. That match is scheduled for Sept. 27.
The planned broadcasts wrap up with SoCon matches against ETSU (Oct. 18) and Wofford (Oct. 25). Both of those tilts will be available on the SoCon Digital Network.
Brad Salois will have the call for each of the men’s soccer games, with a color commentator for the ESPN3 match yet to be announced. Tony Hermane will run the productions.
Fans should stay tuned to match previews on VMIKeydets.com, or visit the host schools’ sites, for information on road men’s soccer broadcasts.
