Virginia Tech loses two from football program

Former No. 1 national recruit Holland Fisher is among two players leaving the Virginia Tech football program, according to a published report today.

Fisher, a redshirt freshman outside linebacker, was ranked the #1 high school player in the country by 247Sports at Fork Union Military Academy after signing with the Hokies from Manchester High School, where he was a standout at safety.

Redshirt freshman cornerback Shawn Payne is the other transfer. He was rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com coming out of L.C. Bird.
