The theme of the 7th annual National Small Farm Conference is “Creating and Sustaining Small Farmers and Ranchers.”
From Sept. 20-22 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, small farmers can learn about innovative advances in research, Extension and outreach that can help them. They also will have the ability to network and potentially form partnerships with other small farmers.
The conference is hosted by Virginia State University’s College of Agriculture, Virginia Cooperative Extension and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Virginia Tech and the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation are sponsors of the program.
