This summer the Virginia Film Festival is inviting movie lovers to take to the great outdoors with a new Moonlight Movies series that will feature six special screenings that will alternate between the IX Art Park and Carter Mountain Orchard.
All screenings are free and open to the public.
The Virginia Film Festival is presented by the University of Virginia and the Office of the Provost and Vice Provost for the Arts.
The series, presented by Bold Rock Hard Cider, will kick off on May 13 with the Tim Burton classic Beetlejuice at IX Art Park. The full schedule will include:

The 29th Annual Virginia Film Festival will be presented from November 3-6 at venues throughout Charlottesville. The 2016 Festival program will be announced on September 27, with tickets going on sale on September 30.
