va democratsThe Democratic Party of Virginia and Common Good VA PAC will report tomorrow a combined $4.9 million raised in the third quarter of 2015 for the November elections.

The DPVA raised $3.5 million in the period from July to September and currently has $447,000 cash on hand. Common Good Raised $1.4 million and has $1.4 million cash on hand.

The $3.5 million raised by the DPVA includes $850,000 from the sale of the former DPVA headquarters.

“Our fundraising is a measure of our incredible grassroots strength and how excited Democrats across Virginia are to take back the state Senate and make gains in the House,” said DPVA Press Secretary Morgan Finkelstein. “The Democratic effort is running strong because folks across the Commonwealth see a real opportunity to expand health care for all, ensure a fair living wage, and stop Republican attacks on women’s health.”
