A week after a huge win over Ohio State, Virginia Tech was upset at home as East Carolina beat the Hokies 28-21. Virginia Tech tied the game at 21-21 with 1:20 to play in the 4th quarter. ECU QB Shane Carden responded and led the Pirates on a 3-play, 65-yard game-winning drive capped by Carden’s 1-yard touchdown run. Virginia Tech plays Georgia Tech next week.
