UVA presents talk by James Forman Jr. at The Paramount Theater

The Paramount TheaterThe Paramount Theater will welcome the University of Virginia for Claiming Your Power: American Racism, the Alt-Right, and Radical Resistance – A Talk by James Forman Jr. on Thursday, September 27 at 4:00PM. This event is free and open to the public.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author (for Locking Up Our Own), Yale Law Professor and public intellectual James Forman, Jr. visits Charlottesville one year after the events of August 11 & 12. His talk, “Claiming Your Power: American Racism, the Alt-Right, and Radical Resistance” explores the cultural dynamics at work in our community and our nation.
