Virginia men’s head basketball coach Tony Bennett has named seniors Mustapha Farrakhan, Mike Scott and Will Sherrill tri-captains of the team for the 2010-11 season.
“Mustapha, Mike and Will are among our most experienced players, having been in the program for three years,” Bennett said. “They have worked with me and my staff for more then a year and understand what we are trying to accomplish. Their experience and knowledge are valuable leadership tools for a team with seven freshmen on the roster.”
