About the local relief effort
Hilldrup will provide the drivers and a 53-foot trailer for the supplies to be transported to North Carolina. ALCOVA Mortgage and Cav Futures will lead the collection efforts at the designated drop-off points.
The items collected in association with UVA Football will benefit the United Way of Forsyth (UWForsyth.org). For those looking for additional ways to help, UW Forsyth encourages you to make hurricane relief contributions to the UW Helps NC Fund, which was initiated by United Way of North Carolina. This fund is designed to support both immediate and long-term recovery efforts in communities impacted by the recent severe weather.
