UVA Basketball: Start time for Nov. 15 game with Marshall moved up to noon

UVA Athletics solved a problem that it had created for no good reason, with the announcement on Thursday that the start time of the Saturday, Nov. 15 men’s basketball game with Marshall has been moved up to noon ET.

The UVA-Duke football game is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Nov. 15, which made the originally scheduled 2 p.m. ET start time for the UVA-Marshall basketball game a challenge.

I was imagining a basketball game being played in front of a pandemic-era crowd for that one.

Why UVA Athletics scheduled a basketball game on the same day as a football game in the first place is something worth stroking the chin over.

Fans of one tend to be fans of both, as you know, and didn’t need me to tell you.

Anyway, problem solved.
