UVA basketball players Evan Nolte, London Perrantes suspended for JMU game

uva basketballUVA junior forward Evan Nolte (Milton, Ga.) and sophomore guard London Perrantes (Los Angeles, Calif.) have been suspended for the Cavaliers’ two preseason scrimmages and the season-opener at James Madison on Friday, Nov. 14, head coach Tony Bennett announced Friday (Nov. 7).

Nolte and Perrantes have been suspended for violating team rules in the summer. Nolte averaged 2.8 points off the bench last season, while Perrantes averaged 5.5 points and a team-leading 3.8 assists.

Both players will return to action against Norfolk State on Sunday, Nov. 16.
