The UVA Baseball team picked up a pair of easy wins over Dartmouth, 11-3 on Friday, behind a 10-strikeout effort from senior Jay Woolfolk, and 11-1 on Saturday, behind nine Ks from freshman Tomas Valincius.

Virginia (6-3) put up 11 hits in the series opener on Friday, with three hits and an RBI from Henry Ford, and a solo homer from Harrison Didawick.

Woolfolk (1-0, 2.63 ERA) struck out 10 in six innings, allowing a run on two hits, without a walk.

On Saturday, the ‘Hoos got a nice outing from Valincius (2-0, 2.12 ERA), who struck out nine, walked one and scattered seven hits in five innings, allowing a lone earned run.

The offense belted 18 hits on the day. Chris Arroyo blasted his third homer of the season, a moon shot out of The Dish in right in the sixth.

Leadoff hitter Eric Becker was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Bryson Moore (0-0, 1.69 ERA) gets the start for UVA in the series finale on Sunday (noon ET, ACCNX).
