uva basketballUVA has reclaimed the #2 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 after posting a pair of wins over Top 15 ACC opponents last week.

The Cavs (21-1, 9-1 ACC) won at #12 North Carolina, 75-64, on Monday, and then defeated #9 Louisville, 52-47, on Saturday.

Virginia switched spots with Gonzaga (24-1), which is back to #3 after wins last week over unranked Santa Clara and San Francisco.

UNC and Louisville maintained their spots from last week in the AP poll, as did #4 Duke, which won a pair of home games, over unranked Georgia Tech and #10 Notre Dame.

Notre Dame also held at its #10 ranking from last week despite its 90-60 loss at Duke on Saturday.

The USA Today Top 25 reads a little differently, leaving Virginia at third, Duke at fifth, Louisville at eighth, and dropping Notre Dame one spot to 11 and North Carolina two spots to 15.
