UVA alum Tyler Wilson was masterful for the Baltimore Orioles in a 9-2 win over Minnesota on Wednesday.
Wilson (2-1, 2.93 ERA) went seven innings, giving up two runs on six hits, striking out two and walking one for the O’s (20-12).
Adam Jones continued his rise from the depths of a season-long slump, going 4-for-5 at the plate with a two-run homer in the ninth, his second in two days and third of the season.
Mark Trumbo homered twice, his 10th and 11th of the season, and Chris Davis hit his ninth of the season and also had four hits on the day.
