route 250A contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will trim vegetation Tuesday to improve visibility on Route 250 (Ivy Road) at Route 676 (Tilman Road) in Albemarle County.

Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., traffic on Route 250 will be reduced to a single lane controlled by flagging at the intersection. To avoid impacts to rush hour traffic, any trimming work not completed by 3 p.m. will be performed Wednesday during the same work hours.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists should remain alert for traffic controls and use caution approaching the work zone.

Updates and other real-time travel information can be found on the 511 Virginia website, the free VDOT 511 mobile app or by calling 511 from any phone in Virginia. Local updates are also posted to Twitter.com/VaDOTCulp.
