James Madison University will host a televised football game on Thursday night, and traffic could be significantly impacted on game day.

The game will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, against Coastal Carolina University at Bridgeforth Stadium.

The community is cautioned to avoid traveling through campus on game day especially as the game time approaches.

Some members of the local community may need to take an alternate route home on Thursday evening.

JMU’s administrative offices will close at 3 p.m. Thursday to allow faculty and staff time to exit campus.

For fans, parking lots are available beginning at 4:30 p.m. and will not be accessible any earlier. It will not be possible for fans to line up and wait on campus for parking lots to clear. Fans may not access lots for dropping off/unloading tailgate supplies, nor save spaces prior to 4:30 p.m.

Additional information can be found online.
