Over the top? Raw segment features Bray Wyatt with children’s choir

Chris Graham

The Bray Wyatt character, as currently written, should be let nowhere near a lone child, much less a children’s choir. Wyatt started out “Duck Dynasty,” but has long since passed over into “Deliverance.”

And so it was that Wyatt’s latest head game with John Cena, fan favorite of children everywhere, worked like a charm on this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw.

Wyatt walked out to the ring singing “Whole World In His Hands,” the same serenade that he had for Cena at the end of their match on last week’s Raw, accompanied by a 50-plus-member children’s choir.

Weird, definitely. And it made for great TV.
