TNA News: Dixie Carter answers questions live

Chris Graham

dixieTNA President Dixie Carter wishes she had a dollar for every time she’s heard that the company is for sale or going out of business. That tidbit, the revelation that Eric Bischoff’s company BHE is executive producer of Impact Wrestling, and more came out of a live online chat with TNA fans Thursday night.

Other highlights:

On the idea that “Cops” is providing a strong lead-in for Impact: “I haven’t heard that. We have had numerous high viewership lead-ins in the past. Most prove that we have a turn over audience…meaning we bring in a new audience.”

On whether she’s sure TNA will be around in 10 years: “As sure as I was 12 years ago…. and obviously much more. 12 years ago we only dreamed about the kind of success we are having today.”

On CM Punk: “Awesome talent.”

On Jeff Jarrett: “I wish him nothing but happiness.”

On Kurt Angle being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame while practically begging for a job in WWE: “Are you kidding? Kurt helped change the landscape for our company. Very deserving.”
