Get answers to these questions during Medicare’s annual Open Enrollment period Oct. 15-Dec. 7 at the Staunton Senior Center. Trained and certified insurance counselors are available at SSC to give you personalized information about your medication costs and which Part D plan is best for you in 2014.
They can also provide information about co-pays and other out-of-pocket costs for the 2014 Medicare Advantage plans. Insurance counselors are part of the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) and do not sell insurance or endorse any company.
The service is free of charge but the program has experienced a significant funding cut. Donations are gratefully accepted to keep the program going and are tax-deductible.
