Three arrested on meth charges after Skyline Drug Task Force investigation

The Skyline Drug Task Force announced three arrests after a month-long investigation into methamphetamine trafficking.

Marcelo Ruiz Jimenez, 31, of Waynesboro, was charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. Jimenez was already incarcerated at the Middle River Regional Jail on previous charges and remains there without bond due to his immigration status and the severity of his charges.

Armando Lara-Tenorio, 37, of Waynesboro, was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Lara-Tenorio was also already incarcerated at the Middle River Regional Jail on previous charges and remains there without bond due to his immigration status and the severity of his charges

Raul Godinez Jr., 29, of Crimora, was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Godinez is currently on bond from Middle River Regional Jail for similar drug charges in Waynesboro and Augusta County and currently remains at large.

The Skyline Drug Task Force, headquartered in Waynesboro, is composed of narcotics investigators from the Waynesboro Police Department, Staunton Police Department, Nelson County Sheriff’s Department, Augusta County Sheriff’s Department and Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Appomattox Field Office.
