They were among those who attended the annual Volunteer Appreciation Party that took place Sunday, April 7 at SSC. More than 150 area citizens volunteer as Meals on Wheels drivers, program leaders, entertainers and local council members for the Center each year. In 2012, SSC volunteers logged 5,219.5 hours for a dollar value of $119,515, based on 2011 wages.
