Texas scores two in the ninth, stuns Baltimore

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesA Leonys Martin RBI single broke a scoreless tie in the ninth, and a Rougned Odor RBI single added an insurance run in a 2-0 win over Baltimore Thursday night at Camden Yards.

The Orioles (42-37, tied for first, American League East) could only manage three hits on the night off four Rangers pitchers.

Vovani Gallardo got a no-decision for Texas in a solid start, limiting the O’s to two hits in six innings.

Keone Kela (5-5) got the win with two-thirds of an inning of scoreless relief. Shawn Tolleson pitched a perfect ninth for his 12th save.

Chaz Roe (2-1) took the loss, giving up the two runs in the ninth.

Kevin Gausman had a nice outing for Baltimore in his second start since returning from the DL, giving the O’s six and a third scoreless innings, giving up four hits, striking out seven and walking two.
