tennisThe Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Tennis Association (SWAT) is hosting a Spring Membership Drive and Social on Sunday, May 22, from 3-5 PM, at the outdoor courts at Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness Center in Fishersville.

SWAT sponsors tournaments during the summer and early fall, and also provides instructional opportunities for adults and youth beginning in June. The membership drive and social offer tennis enthusiasts a chance to play on the clay courts at Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness Center in a social, round-robin format.

Single memberships are just $15 and a family membership is $20. There are also sponsorship-level memberships: $50-$124 is a Top Seed, and sponsorship of National Junior Tennis League (NJTL), youth tennis instruction in Staunton and Waynesboro, is $125 and up. SWAT is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

To RSVP for the social by Friday, May 20, or to get more information, contact Hannah Shields at[email protected] or 540-649-0376. SWAT is on the web at www.swattennis.org, Facebook, and Twitter.
