The City of Staunton will begin a schedule of street paving on Monday. The following streets will be affected, and the city encourages motorists to use caution and expect minor delays.
- Monday, June 6: Paving on Straith Street.
- Tuesday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 8: Milling on Greenville Avenue. Milling will occur during the day, but access to all the businesses along Greenville will be maintained throughout the process.
- Thursday, June 9: Milling and paving on Augusta Street from Johnson Street to Frederick Street during the overnight hours.
- Monday, June 13: Paving on Greenville Avenue during the overnight hours. It is anticipated that it will take two nights to complete paving.
This schedule is weather dependent.
