Strasburg finishes 2015 on high note: Nationals top Braves, 3-0

nationals_logoStephen Strasburg gave up six hits in six scoreless innings to lead the Washington Nationals to a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

Strasburg (11-7, 3.46 ERA) struck out seven and walked one. Over his last 13 starts, the right-hander was 8-2 with a 1.76 ERA with 110 strikeouts and 12 walks in 82 innings of work.

Clint Robinson hit his ninth homer of the season, a solo shot in the second inning.

Bryce Harper was 1-for-4 at the plate with an RBI. Harper’s batting average is at .331, two points ahead of Dee Gordon of Miami, who is hitting .329.
