Staunton Senior Center Kicks Off Busy Holiday Season

Chris Graham

Staunton Senior Center has officially kicked off its holiday season!

After participating in the Christmas parade on Monday evening, members joined students from Grace Christian School Ministries Class who led the creating of Christmas ornament crafts and snow globes on Wednesday. Thursday brought Diane & Company tap dancers for a spirited Christmas program for over thirty onlookers, while decorating of the Center was in full swing, headed by a Mary Baldwin College student volunteer.

Thirty-five members, volunteers, and staff then headed off to Harrisonburg to the Wood Grill to meet others for the annual traditional holiday feast! December brings ten various musical presentations and much merriment expected! Stop by Staunton Senior Center to view the lovely decorations and join in the festivities!
