Staunton Police seek information on hit-and-run

policecar3The Staunton Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a hit and run that occurred Saturday night on Chestnut Street near the intersection of Cherry Street.

At approximately 11:38 PM a dark blue or black, full size truck possibly with a brush guard struck the fence and mailbox at 2209 Noon Street, causing significant damage to the property.

Anyone having information about this accident is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540-332-3842 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-322-2017.
