Staunton City Schools announces 2018-2019 At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program

Staunton City Schools announces the sponsorship of the At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program. The same meals (afterschool snacks) will be available at no separate charge to all participants at each site.

For 2018-2019, meals (afterschool snacks) will be provided at Shelburne Middle School and Bessie Weller Elementary School.

Afterschool snacks will be available to students at participating sites, free of charge and no application required. The same meals will be available to all participants at each noted Children and Adult Care Feeding Program (CACFP) facility without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 8778339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
