staunton augusta art centerThe Staunton Augusta Art Center is now accepting reservations for the organization’s 17th Biennial Art Auction and Gala at 6pm, Saturday, August 29 at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel.

The event features a cocktail hour, a three course dinner with dessert, live entertainment by Jimmy O, dancing, and silent and live auctions.  Proceeds from the auctions will support Staunton Augusta Art Center programs and  events, such as high quality gallery exhibitions and Art in the Park  which are available to everyone at no charge.  The Art Center also holds art classes for ages 4 through post-retirement, is an eager collaborator with other community organizations, and serves as an active art advocate for cultural enrichment and economic development.  The Art Center supports artists by facilitating the sell of their work and by hiring them to teach.

The cost of the Art Auction/Gala is $75 per person.  Reservations are required by August 20 by calling the Art Center at 540-885-2028.
