The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services recently launched the fantasy contest operator registration application for those persons or entities that wish to offer fantasy contests for a cash prize to members of the public on or after July 1, 2016.
The application can be found at vdacs.virginia.gov/pdf/fcregistrationform.pdf.
Operators who offer fantasy contests in the Commonwealth must register with VDACS as a result of recent legislation, Chapters 318 and 703 of the 2016 Acts of Assembly.
