Stars of NBC’s The Voice coming to the Historic North Theatre

newspaperTwo popular contenders from last year’s TV talent show “The Voice,” Vanessa Ferguson and Stephanie Rice, will perform a night of music live on stage with blues, soul, pop, rock and rap at the Historic North Theatre in Danville on Aug, 3.

Tickets are $35 for the VIP Meet & Greet at 6:00 PM (includes front orchestra ticket).  General admission tickets are $25, $20 and $15.  The can be reserved by call the theatre at 434-793-SHOW (7469).

Ferguson finished “The Voice” competition in sixth place, and Rice came in 10th place. Both will hit the stage with musical artists Feleice and Cayenne the Lion King, along with Danville talents Austin Cox and KeyKey Hairston.

Bryant Hood, founder of ETE Productions in Danville, teamed up with Wayne Alan, owner of the Historic North Theatre, to gather the singers for a concert.

This concert is another in the new Celebrity Series that has recently been kicked off at the Historic North Theatre.  The new series is bringing nationally known talent to southern Virginia.  The beautifully restored 500-seat venue with a full balcony was built in 1947 and has amazing acoustics and offers an intimate setting for great concerts.
