The ACC-Big Ten Challenge, the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Classic and lots of ACC are on the TV schedule for Virginia and Virginia Tech basketball fans this fall and winter.

Virginia Tech will be on TV 21 times in 2008-2009, including three times during the Nov. 20-23 Puerto Rico Tip-Off Classic and for the Hokies’ Dec. 1 home game against Wisconsin in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Both Tech games against Duke – on the road on Jan. 4 and at home on Feb. 28 – as well as the March 4 home tilt with UNC will be televised, as will the home-and-home games with UVa. on Jan. 10 and Feb. 18.

Virginia gets 19 TV games, including the Dec. 2 ACC-Big Ten Challenge game at Minnesota, a Dec. 20 home game against SEC foe Auburn and a Jan. 3 home game with Xavier. Both of the Cavs’ games with UNC, at home on Jan. 15 and on the road on Feb. 7, as well as the Feb. 1 road game at Duke, are on the TV schedule as well.
