Spaces open in children’s art class at Staunton Augusta Art Center

Contributors

staunton augusta art centerThere is still room for this Saturday’s art class at the Staunton Augusta Art Center for ages 6-10(ish), 10:30-Noon, in the Smith Center (20 S. New Street in historic Downtown Staunton).

Mary Baldwin College art students are doing a great job enthusiastically teaching art theory and art skill by taking a closer look at dinosaurs. On March 21, students will learn about scale and how artists can portray sizes of things in relation to each other. One of the best studies for this is the most dangerous of all dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus, which actually looked a little funny with an extra-large head and tiny arms.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Staunton Augusta Art Center at 540-885-2028. $15/$13 member rate
