Story by Chris Graham

arinsime_headshot_200_300.jpgArin Sime is on the air – sort of.
The 24th Senate District Libertarian candidate released his first campaign television commercial yesterday – on the popular video website YouTube.
The spot plays up issues raised by Sime in his campaign in the 24th and features voters from the district who support Sime’s platform – including Crozet homeowners Tina and John Munchmeyer, who express displeasure with rising property taxes in the commercial; Skip Plitt and his son, Austin, Albemarle County hunters and Second Amendment advocates; Earlysville mom Silvia Barrett, who is active in the homeschool movement; and Gerard Labrecque of Staunton, who were threatened with eminent domain in 2006 in relation to a home that they are renovating.
The commercial was filmed by Tugboat Media LLC and will be running on television stations in the 24th during the final week of the campaign.
You can get a sneak preview now here.
