Shooting in Staunton: Police seek information

staunton virginiaA Staunton man was shot multiple times in an incident reported overnight, and police are seeking information on what went down.

George Joyce, 34, was found in the 900 block of Alta Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the UVA Medical Center for treatment of the injuries.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540.332.3842 or Crimestoppers at 1.800.322.2017.
