Over the next several weeks, a contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will repave several on ramps to Interstate 64 in Albemarle County. Beginning Monday, crews will mill the existing pavement before applying the new asphalt and lane markings.
Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., ramp traffic will use a narrowed-width lane to reach I-64 from the locations listed below:
- Route 250 (Ivy Road) in Crozet
- Route 637 (Dick Woods Road) in Ivy
- Route 29 (Monacan Trail Road) in Charlottesville
Motorists should reduce their speed through the work zone and stay alert for workers and equipment near the travel lane.
