AFP

The Department of Veterans Affairs office at the Salem Medical Center will hold an outreach event at the Waynesboro Senior Center, 325 Pine Ave., Waynesboro, on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to share information about VA health services, resources, VA Health Care enrollment and eligibility, women’s health, mental health, My HealtheVet online information, health information materials, and improving access to rural veterans.

All veterans, their spouses, caregivers, or members of the community who would like to learn more information about VA programs and services are encouraged to attend.

On hand to discuss VA health care services and education will be members of the Rural Health Team from the Salem VAMC.

In the event of inclement weather (e.g. schools are closed due to weather/road conditions in the area), we may reschedule the event.

Further information about this event is available online at www.salem.va.gov.
