Sen. Tim Kaine will participate in events to promote early voting around the Commonwealth and vote early on Monday in Richmond.
Kaine, who celebrates 30 years serving in elected office in 2024, is running for re-election to the U.S. Senate in Virginia.
On Friday, September 20, 2024, Kaine will attend an early vote rally from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Ellen M. Bozman Government Center,
2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington. Then, he will attend a lunch with Virginia FREE from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tysons Corner Ritz Carlton, 1700 Tysons Blvd, McLean.
He will then attend an early vote rally in Manassas with Sen. Mark Warner, U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger and Congressional candidates Suhas Subramanyam and Eugene Vindman from 2 to 3 p.m. at Virginia Portuguese Community Center, 9509 Lee Ave West, Manassas. He will end Friday at Greene Democratic Committee’s monthly potluck from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at PVCC Eugene Giuseppe Center in the Mark Fried Community Room, 222 Main St., Stanardsville.
On Saturday, September 21, Kaine will attend the Todos 34th Anniversary Festival from noon to 1 p.m. at Todos Supermarket, 13905 Richmond Hwy. Woodbridge. Then he will attend the Burg Family Reunion from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Douglass Community Center, 407 East Market St., Leesburg. Finally, he will attend an early vote rally with Network NOVA and Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Old Ox Brewery, 44625 Guilford Dr., Unit 114, Ashburn.
On Sunday, September 22, he will go to an early vote rally with Eastern Shore Democrats from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at 24577 Mary N. Smith Rd., Accomack. He will then go to the Keep In Touch Democrats Annual Potluck Picnic from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 5122 Main Street, Chincoteague.
On Monday, September 23, Kaine will vote early in Richmond with his wife, Anne Holton, and U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s District 4.
Kaine is excited to kick off early voting with Virginians around the Commonwealth.
