Screening of Camp Lyndhurst documentary set for Monday in Dayton

camp lyndhurstA special screening of the feature documentary “In This Land: The Camp Lyndhurst Saga. German Prisoners of War in The Old Dominion” from Alpha Vision Films is being offered Monday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. at the auditorium of The Heritage Museum in Dayton.

The documentary explores a little known and fascinating chapter in Virginia history, featuring historian and author of “The Longest Patrol,” Gregory L. Owen, along with president of The Waynesboro Heritage Foundation, Shirley Bridgeforth.

The film was produced and directed by James Overton

The filmmakers will be on hand to take questions and discuss the film following this presentation.
