All tickets will be lowered to $5, and certain concession items, including hot dogs and popcorn, will be on sale for just $1. In addition, the Red Sox will don replica uniforms that were worn by the Salem-Roanoke Friends in May of 1939. These unique jerseys will bring a nostalgic flavor to the historic night.
After the game, many of the throwback jerseys will be auctioned off, a great opportunity for fans to own a true piece of Roanoke Valley baseball history. There will also be many other great surprises throughout the evening.
While “Turn Back the Clock” Night is less then a month away, the defending carolina league champion Salem Sox are back at LewisGale Field for a week-long homestand beginning tonight, Wednesday, April 23, against the Lynchburg Hillcats.
