road-work-headerRoute 250 westbound will be closed overnight Thursday between Route 29 (Emmet Street) and Barracks Road while storm drainage pipes are installed underneath the roadway.

During the closure, from 9 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday, the ramp from southbound Route 29 to Route 250 Bypass west will also be closed. Westbound traffic will be detoured south on Route 29 and then right on Barracks Road, which carries traffic back to Route 250 Bypass westbound.

Motorists traveling through the area overnight Thursday and early Friday morning should be aware of possible congestion, follow the signed detour and be alert for construction vehicles and workers near the travel lanes on Route 29.
