Rockbridge County: One dead in single-vehicle crash on Maury River Road

A Rockbridge County man is dead from injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Maury River Road on Sunday morning.

Harley Ray Miller, 29, of Natural Bridge Station, was driving a 1991 Ford Ranger east on Maury River Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck the embankment.

The vehicle then crossed the roadway and fell into the river.

The accident was reported at 6:47 a.m. on Sunday, according to Virginia State Police.

Miller, who was not wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene.
