DCCThe Dominion Cruisers Club held its fourth annual poker run on May 18 at the Waynesboro Buffalo Wild Wings to support Ride With Pride, a non-profit organization in Staunton which offers therapeutic horsemanship programs for children and adults with special needs.

Ride With Pride held an appreciation picnic for the Dominion Cruisers Club on Aug. 8.  At the picnic, the organization received a check for $1,500 from the Dominion Cruisers Club.  The money will go towards a one year stall sponsorship program for a Ride With Pride horse and the horse’s stall.

Ride With Pride recently started the stall sponsorship program for donors who contribute at least $1,000.  A plaque is made up with the name of the person or business who contributes to the stall sponsorship program and is presented on the horse’s stall.
