A new poll from Rasmussen Reports is more bad news for former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore.
Just 12 percent of likely Republican voters think Gilmore is at least somewhat likely to win the Republican Party presidential nomination, with 3 percent saying it is very likely.
Sixty-eight percent consider a Gilmore nomination unlikely, with 45 percent feeling it is not at all likely that Gilmore will win the nomination.
The only surprise in the numbers, really, is that they aren’t more skewed against Gilmore, who isn’t polling even 1 percent in the national polls right now.
