Reports: Sting to make WWE debut at Survivor Series

Contributors

stingThe legendary Sting is reportedly set to make his WWE debut at Survivor Series on Sunday night.

The report, originating with PWInsider, doesn’t include any details or speculation on what role Sting may play at the event, including whether he will appear in the ring, in a match, backstage or anything specific.

Sting last wrestled in TNA in January before leaving that company when his contact expired. It was rumored for months that a move to WWE was imminent, starting with the rumor mill having him headed to the company in time to take part in WrestleMania 30.

His work with the company to this point has been limited to appearing in video interviews for documentary-style programming on DVDs and the WWE Network and making a cameo appearance in a TV commercial promoting the WWE 2K15 video game.
