An ESPN report has former Georgia coach Mark Richt interviewing for the vacancy at Virginia late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Richt, 145-51 in 15 seasons at UGA, including 9-3 this season, was fired by the school on Sunday.
The ESPN report also had Richt in contact with Miami. Earlier reports had Maryland reaching out to Richt to gauge interest in that opening.
