Calendar 2013Virginia Organizing will host a community gathering in support of comprehensive immigration reform with U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, on Monday, August 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Court Square.

“Virginia Organizing is very pleased to have such a high profile advocate for immigration reform with a path to citizenship speaking at this important event,” said Virginia Organizing Chairperson Sandra A. Cook.

“Rep. Gutierrez’s voice will add to the ongoing debate about immigration reform. It is especially important that he is speaking on this topic in Harrisonburg, an area that has a large immigrant population looking forward to comprehensive reform,” said Cook.
