Jerod Evans had 357 yards of total offense and threee scores to lead Virginia Tech to a 37-16 win over Miami.
Travon McMillian rushed for 131 yards and Bucky Hodges caught two TDs for the Hokies. Sam Rogers threw a trick-play touchdown as well.
Virginia Tech’s defense was relentless, sacking Brad Kaaya eight times.
