Pulaski County | 50-year-old man dead following fiery single-vehicle crash

A 50-year-old man is dead following an accident on U.S. Route 11 in Pulaski County on Saturday morning.

Kenneth S. Goodson, of Pulaski, died at the scene, according to Virginia State Police.

The fatal single-vehicle crash occurred at 9:49 a.m., near the intersection with Cougar Trail Road. Goodson’s Oldsmobile went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, lost control and went off the left side of the road into a median. The vehicle then struck and tree, split in half and caught fire.

The crash remains under investigation.
